Les Mâcon Wine Note? is a convivial and laid-back occasion to spend with family or friends, while discovering Mâcon wines, winegrowers, Mâconnais musicians, etc. This event, open to wine and food lovers, aims to encourage you to explore the diversity of Mâcon wines: colors, geographical denomination, winegrowers, history! It is also an opportunity to try other regional products and maritime products, while enjoying live music with Mâconnais artists!

TO HIGHLIGHT THE BEST CUVÉES OF THE MÂCON APPELLATION
La Distinction Saint-Vincent was created in 1986 to highlight the best cuvées of the Mâcon appellation without establishing a ranking between them. It is open to all Mâcon wine producers and takes place every year in March. The number of distinguished wines cannot exceed 33% of the samples presented. It is exclusively reserved for white, rosé and red wines from the current and previous years, and from the following categories:
- Mâcon (white, rosé and red)
- Mâcon-Villages (white)
Mâcon plus a geographical denomination (white, rosé and red)
For the most recent vintage, samples can be taken either from vats or from individual bottles. For the previous year’s wines, only samples representing bottled wine are accepted.
Each wine is tasted by two different juries composed of a minimum of three tasters.
The awarded cuvées are used by the UPVM throughout the year to promote Mâcon wines in its various communication operations.
